With so much sailing activity going on around us it is no surprise to find the fun and excitement of Lake Macquarie spills onto the decks of the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club making for a busy social calendar.
LMYC POKER TOURNAMENT! The Lake Macquarie Yacht Club is now hosting Texas Hold'em Poker! Every Wednesday from 10th February registrations for the game are at 6pm and the game starts at 7pm. It doesnt matter if you are an experienced player or a complete novice! Just come along and join in the fun! It is a $12 buy in and the game will be hosted in the BBQ area or auditorium (weather depending). And the expected prize pool is $500! (prize pool dependant on number of players).
LMYC OPEN DAY The Lake Macquarie Yacht Club Open Day will be held this year on September 4th. A free sausage sizzle will be kicking off the event at 11.30am followed a 12.30pm Sailpast. Results of the day and prizes for the 'best dressed crew' and 'best dressed boat' will be announced at 5.30pm. With entertainment from the Di Pritchard Band on the deck from 4pm, this will surely be a fun day for all ages!
