FROM THE GENERAL MANAGERS DESK
CLUB RENOVATIONS UPDATE
The renovations are almost complete. Members will be happy to know that the majority of renovations will be finished in early December. The new bar is in full swing and club reception will be finished early next week.
Stage 2 which will be the complete redevelopment of the toilets and office space will occur during winter next year. I would like to personally thank Tony May and BBC for the quality of work they have produced. Special mention to board member Peter Shaddock whose vision and planning have led to the new club and facilities we have today. We will be planning a gala opening in early January so stay tuned for updates.
Members please note that we will no longer be accepting vouchers that are out of date. Voucher must be used by the expiry date or they will not be honoured.
The outdoor toilets are now fully operational and in use. Both Men’s and Ladies have showers and toilets. There will also be a sail box in that area for members to drop off sails for Craig Phillips. Please ask Craig or staff at the club for the lock code.
NO ALCOHOL TO BE BROUGHT INTO LICENSED CLUB
Members are reminded that no alcohol is to be brought onto the club premises. The clubhouse is a licensed club and strict penalties will apply for anyone caught doing this.
SAVE THE DATE
Saturday January 12th will be the relaunch of the new clubhouse and facilities. We will be holding a ticketed event in the marquee with 3 course meal, drinks and entertainment. Stay tuned for details.
